American Infrared Solutions LLC serves a community of advanced defense manufacturers, scientific research agencies and other OEM clients breaking new ground in imaging systems development.  Our clients demand the highest level of privacy.

The AIRS website does not store persistent cookies, and we do not conduct automated remarketing activities.

If you request information from us, we will have a technical representative reach out to you to answer your questions, but we will not send unsolicited emails after this engagement.

If you request information through one of our forms for access to a controlled document, we use this information to reach back out to you to validate who you are for export control reasons.  We do not send unsolicited emails after this engagement.

We may keep a record of your request and any information that we sent you for the purpose of export control documentation, but we do not release your data to anyone unless required to do so by law.

Collection of Personal Information

“Personal Information” is information about you that is personally identifiable, like your name, address, email address or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.  AMERICAN INFRARED SOLUTIONS LLC collects Personal Information on information request forms on the AIRS website.

AMERICAN INFRARED SOLUTIONS LLC strictly protects the security of your Personal Information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

The American Infrared Solutions LLC website is not intended for use by any children, including children under the age of thirteen.  American Infrared Solutions LLC does not knowingly collect Personal Information online from children under thirteen. If you think that American Infrared Solutions has collected Personal Information from your child, please contact us at the address provided below.

AMERICAN INFRARED SOLUTIONS LLC takes precautions to protect our users’ information both online and offline.

We seek to use reasonable organizational, technical and administrative measures to protect Personal Information within our organization.  Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.  If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please immediately notify us in accordance with the “Contact Us” section below.

AMERICAN INFRARED SOLUTIONS LLC may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will also revise the Privacy Policy Version Date at the top of the Privacy Policy. This information is supplemental to our published privacy policy. American Infrared Solutions supports the defense and research community with a range of ITAR products and support. We are DFARS 252.204.7012 compliant, and we do not engage in remarketing or other client focused digital DNA activities. Simply put, if you reach out to us, we will reach back out to you to answer questions. That’s it. Limited personal information for clients is held only long enough to satisfy our legitimate business engagements.

This Privacy Notice for California Residents (the “Notice”) sets forth The AIRS obligations under California law. This Notice provides the additional details regarding the information defined as “Personal Information’ “(including “Sensitive Personal Information”) under applicable California law and related to a California resident or household (“Consumers” and “you”) further referred to as “Personal Information.”

For our international guests, the AIRS website is intended for domestic visitors. Our international guests are welcome to provide personal information but since we are not officially promoting our business internationally, we do not comply with GDPR. That said, our privacy actions and policies are comparable.

AIRS makes the following disclosures for purposes of compliance with California law:

We collect very limited information on our website and at trade shows.
We collect names; phone numbers; email addresses; mailing addresses; job titles; usernames; passwords; contact preferences; and similar information.
Some information may be gathered by the website including IP addresses, browser, and device use but this information is a technical requirement to present a functioning website.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?
We gather your personal information so that we can respond to product or service-related questions. AIRS customers may have portal logins for downloading resources, and so your information can exist in the web utility for this action.

WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?
No, unless we are legally required to do so to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, or in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).

DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?
All websites leverage some cookies and tracking utilities. We do not engage in remarketing or other advanced digital demand generation activities based on your information.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
Your information is stored for as long as is necessary to satisfy our ongoing business relationship. Client information that is inactive for more than 2 years is purged from our customer relationship management system. Email history may be subject to longer storage based on legal requirements.

HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
AIRS supports the defense, advanced research, and space community. We are DFARS 252.204.7012 certified. We are vigilant in the protection of data at all levels. We rely on premium website services and hosting providers to provide the best available security, but there is always some risk with third party providers.

DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
We don’t knowing collect data from minors.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
You may ask us to edit or remove your information at any time.
